A new two‐phase structure‐preserving doubling algorithm for critically singular M‐matrix algebraic Riccati equations

Among numerous iterative methods for solving the minimal nonnegative solution of an M‐matrix algebraic Riccati equation, the structure‐preserving doubling algorithm (SDA) stands out owing to its overall efficiency as well as accuracy. SDA is globally convergent and its convergence is quadratic, except for the critical case for which it converges linearly with the linear rate 1/2. In this paper, we first undertake a delineatory convergence analysis that reveals that the approximations by SDA can be decomposed into two components: the stable component that converges quadratically and the rank‐one component that converges linearly with the linear rate 1/2. Our analysis also shows that as soon as the stable component is fully converged, the rank‐one component can be accurately recovered. We then propose an efficient hybrid method, called the two‐phase SDA, for which the SDA iteration is stopped as soon as it is determined that the stable component is fully converged. Therefore, this two‐phase SDA saves those SDA iterative steps that previously have to have for the rank‐one component to be computed accurately, and thus essentially, it can be regarded as a quadratically convergent method. Characterizations of Null Holomorphic Sectional Curvature of G C R-Lightlike Submanifolds of Indefinite Nearly K ¨ahler Manifolds

We obtain the expressions for sectional curvature, holomorphic sectional curvature and holomorphic bisectional curvature of a GCR-lightlike submanifold of an indefinite nearly K ¨ahler manifold and obtain characterization theorems for holo-morphic sectional and holomorphic bisectional curvature. We also establish a condi-tion for a GCR-lightlike submanifold of an indefinite complex space form to be a null holomorphically flat.

一类线性约束矩阵不等式及其最小二乘问题

本文主要考虑一类线性矩阵不等式及其最小二乘问题,它等价于相应的矩阵不等式最小非负偏差问题.之前相关文献提出了求解该类最小非负偏差问题的迭代方法,但该方法在每步迭代过程中需要精确求解一个约束最小二乘子问题,因此对规模较大的问题,整个迭代过程需要耗费巨大的计算量.为了提高计算效率,本文在现有算法的基础上,提出了一类修正迭代方法.该方法在每步迭代过程中利用有限步的矩阵型LSQR方法求解一个低维矩阵Krylov子空间上的约束最小二乘子问题,降低了整个迭代所需的计算量.进一步运用投影定理以及相关的矩阵分析方法证明了该修正算法的收敛性,最后通过数值例子验证了本文的理论结果以及算法的有效性.     

有关不能全含于半球中的一些曲面的性质讨论

本文主要研究了不能全含于开半球中的一些特殊曲面.利用Lr算子的相关性质,证明了对S~(n+1)中紧致r-极小超曲面,如果第二基本形式的秩rank(h_(ij))r,则其不全含在S~(n+1)的一个开半球中.     

拟常曲率黎曼流形中子流形的几何不等式的一些注记

本文研究了拟常曲率黎曼流形中子流形的Chen不等式.利用代数技巧,建立了Chen广义不等式、Chen-Ricci不等式和关于卷积函数和平均曲率平方的不等式,推广了Özgür和Chen的一些结果.     

de Sitter空间S1m+1中具有平行Blaschke张量的正则类空超曲面

本文引入两个以de Sitter空间为模型的非齐性坐标来覆盖共形空间Q₁^m+1.利用球面S^m+1中超曲面的Möbius几何的方法,本文研究了Q₁^m+1中正则类空超曲面的共形几何.作为其结果,本文对所有具有平行Blaschke张量的正则类空超曲面进行了完全分类.     

计算富勒烯结构的新方法:曲率定理*

介绍了利用曲率定理计算富勒烯结构的方法,证明了富勒烯结构中五元环数恒为12,与传统的欧拉定理法进行了对比,凸显了曲率定理法在研究多面体结构时直观形象的特点,强调了数学方法对解决化学问题和认识化学模型的重要性。     

Weighted isoperimetric inequalities in warped product manifolds

We prove some sharp isoperimetric type inequalities in warped product manifolds, or more generally, multiply warped product manifolds. We also relate them to inequalities involving the higher order mean-curvature integrals. Applications include some sharp eigenvalue estimates, Pólya-Szegö inequality, Faber-Krahn inequality, Sobolev inequality and some sharp geometric inequalities in some warped product spaces.
